Well, since my internet browser decides to go AWOL whenever I attempt to blog at home, I'll go on and say that I'm now stuck using the facilities of my school until my computer ceases acting up for nothing. That also involves random people standing behind me and reading my entries-true, I obviously have nothing to hide, bit I hate it when people read over my shoulder. It's just---annoying. OK, onward with my life update!

This past weekend was yet another well-deserved break. We didn't have school this past Friday, so Nate came up with the idea of having yet another "improv night"-and, guess who's home was used for the location?

It was cool having people over my house again. Besides playing the usual games, we were generally goofing off (learning how to salsa in the middle of my living room, for example). Also, Jason *sigh* made a brief appearance. Unfortuantely, he had another soiree he needed to bless with his albeit gorgeous appearance. Either way, the other people that showed up kept the...party going.

In all: good times, really.

In other news, my mom came up with the bright idea of moving to Orlando after my graduation. True, the thought of doing so is a bit scary; Miami's my life. However, if it means improved living conditions, then I'll roll with it. Trust, however, that I will be coming back to Miami often for a visit. More on that when it becomes official.

Topic: Me and My Friends

Well, "Movie Day" was last night and things couldn't have gone better. It was Bonnie, Brittany, Darma, Priscilla, Nate, Niles, Jayan, Jason, and our lovely chauffer, AKA, BBD's dad. We went to the Muvico in Cuba-I mean, Hialeah. We saw Employee of the Month which was flippin' hilarious. I had never really watched Dane Cook in action until then. Now I see what all the hype's about; he's HI-larious!! Great times.

I happened to sit next to Bonnie and Jason-yep, right in the middle. Of course, he (Jason) was being difficult, as usual. Smart aleck. I love messing with him-he understands (and has) my cruel sense of humour. Cool guy. Really cool guy...

 

Pep Rally and Homecoming
Mood:  party time!
Yesterday was-eventful, to say the least. We (as in, the entire school) went to a pep rally yesterday-y'know, screaming, chanting, picket signs, the usual. However, according to the seniors, the junior class is gay ("Who's gay? '08!!!). To that, I say, it takes one to know one...
Anywho, tonight is the homecoming dance. I find this pretty cool-it's the first year where we've had any seniors to come home. See, the school I go to is just now in its' fourth year of operation. Ah, progress.... *AHEM* getting back to the topic, I plan on sticking to the classic little black dress. I'll probably be one of the few not wearing some poufy confection to the dance. While ball gowns are nice, I wouldn't wear one to my own wedding. Besides, it'll be a much more effective method to show a certain someone what he lost (more on THAT later).

Well, normally I try to stay away from corny introductions because no one likes these things, so I'll try to make this as painless as possible. I'm Blaq, a young girl that's going through the perils of high school, home life, and living in Miami in general. I love to write (quite obviously...) and I'm into fashion, dance, and visual arts. I hope to become a journalist someday, preferably for some sort of publication dedicated to one of my above interests. I'm an easy-going person for the most part, although for some reason people may think thatI'm standoff-ish. I can be very sarcastic, but it's (usually) all in good fun. I'm free-spirited and can be very amorous when I want to be. However, I'm also a very emotional and opinionated person; I don't bite my tongue. With that being said, if anything I write in this blog offends you, then...whoop-de-freakin' do.
